Job description

We are seeking an experienced manager to join our Marketing team at Incision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our marketing efforts, focusing on brand development, retention marketing, account targeting, content creation, and, crucially, events which serve as key engagement moments for our current and potential customers. Having broad experience working with US customers and the US market is a must. Past experience working with companies in the healthcare IT space and/or hospitals is a huge plus.

What you will do

  • Team Leadership and Development - Lead a small, talented marketing team by providing guidance, motivation, and clear direction. Develop and mentor the team, preparing each member for their next career step, while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution - Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, with a strong focus on brand development, content marketing, retention strategies, and events management.

  • Hands-on Operational Management - While leading the team, actively engage in operational marketing tasks. This includes hands-on work in areas such as content creation, event planning and execution, digital marketing campaigns, and analytics.

  • Event Management - Take the lead in planning, organizing, and executing events that serve as a key lead generation tool for our sales team. Ensure that each event is strategically leveraged to enhance our brand and market presence.

  • Brand and Content Development - Oversee the creation and dissemination of engaging content that reinforces our brand identity and values. Ensure content is informative, compelling, and tailored to our target audiences in the healthcare and medical education sectors.

  • Retention Marketing - Develop strategies aimed at customer retention and engagement, ensuring our users have engaging experiences that foster long-term loyalty.

  • Analytics and Reporting - Utilize analytics to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and marketing effectiveness, using insights to drive decisions and strategy adjustments.

Job requirements

You could be the one!

  • Experience - Proven track record with 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in event management and lead generation strategies are highly desirable. Business fluent English language skills is a hard requirement.

  • Leadership Skills - Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team, with a hands-on approach to operational tasks.

  • Strategic Thinker - Strong ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives, with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.

  • Operational Expertise - Hands-on experience with brand development, content creation, digital marketing, event planning and execution, and retention strategies.

  • Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and effectively communicate strategy and vision to the team and broader organization.

  • Analytical Abilities - Proficiency in using analytics tools to guide marketing strategies and decisions, with a focus on measurable outcomes.

  • Industry Knowledge - Solid understanding of the healthcare IT space, with a passion for technology and its potential to transform healthcare is a big plus.
